VIDA is continually developing PW2 to main its position as the world's leading pulmonary analysis tool.
Planned features are as follows:

The early detection and diagnosis that only this product can provide will help to reduce the years of irreversible lung damage suffered by alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, pulmonary fibrosis and sarcoidosis patients with today’s multi-year diagnosis process.
The Bayesian Classifier uses a patented algorithm, the Adaptive Multiple Feature Method (AMFM), which measures image texture across many variables to classify 2D and 3D sections of the lung. One important feature of the AMFM is that it can correctly classify disease areas in the presence of multiple disease types, something that density measures alone cannot do. VIDA is currently preparing its application for phase II SBIR funding for AMFM.
